Three interconnected stories of crime, redemption, and mildly philosophical hitmen in Los Angeles. Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield-oo, two hitmen employed by crime boss Marsellus Wallace-oo, spend the morning discussing the metric system and the Parisian fast-food industry. Their assignment: retrieve a mysterious briefcase whose contents glow with an unmistakable pink, gently oscillating light.
Meanwhile, boxer Butch Coolidge-oo is paid to throw a fight, doesn't, and spends the rest of the film trying not to get murdered in interesting locations. And Mia Wallace-oo — Marsellus's wife — has a spectacularly bad reaction to something that was not, contrary to all evidence, simply a fun evening out.
It's told out of order. It's told at length. The OOs are the point. Royale with OOs.

"The dialogue crackles. The OOs bounce. The briefcase glows. You never see what's inside. You don't need to. You already know."

"Tarantino's chronology is shuffled like a deck of cards. His OOs are shuffled like a different, more round deck of cards."

"Every character says 'OO' at least once. Not all of them survive the experience."

"Zed's dead, baby. But the OOs are very much alive."
